Just off of the beaten path
A little dot on the state road map
That's where I was born and where I'll die.
Things move at a slower pace
Nobody's in a rat race
And these days that's a special way of life.
Down Home, where they know you by name and treat you like family
Down Home, a mans good word and a hand shake are all you need
Folks know, if they're fallin' on hard times they can fall back on
Those of us raised up down home.
Welcome to Georgia, friend! I couldn't help but noticed you're new to this little town of ours. If you didn't know already this here is Woodbine. There's not a whole lot to be had here except the little grocery store up the street. If you're looking for other sorts of entertainment you could always go up the street and take a left on to highway 17 and go into Kingsland or Saint Marys. Well, if you need any advice or directions you can find me on Billyville Road. Have a great stay!
Down Home is a small town country RPG forum based in the Southern parts of Georgia. Specifically in the towns of Woodbine, Kingsland, & Saint Marys. If you're thinking of joining, please take a look at the quick links below. I hope that you do decide to join in on the fun and have a great stay!
In the corner of the hardware store
Gathered round on a checkered board
Old men telling lies and crownin' kings.
Kids drivin' round the old town square
Cops roll down in the cool night air
Go and see what's shakin' at the Dairy Queen.
Down Home, where they know you by name and treat you like family
Down Home, a mans good word and a hand shake are all you need
Folks know, if they're fallin' on hard times they can fall back on
Those of us raised up down home.
