hello, my name is ASHLEYP. i am TWENTY-ONE years young and i consider myself a(n) INTERMEDIATE roleplayer. i found this site through OLD MEMBER. so, here's an example of my average post:
Juliette was walking back to her villa when the storm had hit. In her hurricane of conflicting emotions, she hardly realized it much until the rain fell in sheets and the wind nearly carried her away. She hadn't been here long enough to have experienced a tropical storm yet so she panicked because she didn't know what to do. Juliette ran to attempt to hide under a tree with wide palm leaves. That hardly did much but she couldn't see which way her villa was from here. Darkness and the pounding rain clouded her vision. At this moment she was scared and unsure of herself. The dress she wore to the luau clung to her body, soaked within the first few minutes of the storm. A chill was beginning to set down into her that made her want to curl up. But Juliette had to try and find her way to some sort of shelter.
Stepping back onto the path she had been before, Juliette took careful steps. When she felt her hand hit a solid object, she tried to move to a clear space. That meant a path of some sorts. She didn't even attempt to open her eyes anymore. The rain only stung them, making them useless. Tears of frustration mixed in with the ones from the tropical storm. No one had told her how to navigate through a problem like this. She wasn't aware it was even storm season. Perhaps she should pay attention more to weather sites. All those were useless to her now. Lightning filled the sky followed by claps of thunder. And Juliette was right smack between trees which lightning could strike. Better to die on paradise then by her father's blade she figured.
Saying a prayer under her breath, light filled up in front of her. The glow outlined her figure to show it came from behind. Turning, an ATV drove up and stopped before her. Not caring who drove it, Juliette climbed on back and clung to the male figure. Her body shivered each time the wind struck her back, trying to warm itself. Yes, she could already predicted that she was going to end up sick after this. Great. As long as she got to someplace warm and dry soon, there wasn't too much she could complain about. At least this storm had sobered her up very quickly and sent her frustrated emotions away. Those could be worked out during a time that she wasn't in panic mode from the storm. It was all her fault. Taylor had been nothing but nice and she allowed herself to feel too much. All those feelings and her ones of fear and sadness filled her. Juliette didn't have a mother to talk to about these things. Aside from Sarah, she had to work through them on her own.
