hello, my name is ECHO. i am SEVENTEEN years young and i consider myself a INTERMEDIATE roleplayer. i found this site through GRIMMLINGS. so, here's an example of my average post:
Laila sat alone in the library, occasionally looking around to see if anyone had entered, breaking the silence, but most of the time, she sat curled up in loveseat with an art book. She had her sketch pad balanced on her lap and her water bottle at her feet. Every now and again, she would sketch out sometime like an eye or a lock of hair, something she had read in the book that seemed helpful to her. She did take a drink when she felt a little faint, but that was all. She had learned long ago that she should drink a lot when she wasn't planning on eating. And even though they were forcing her to eat AND keep it down, she wasn't planning on making it so easy for anyone who tried to make her quit.
It was nice to be in a quiet area that she could count on being quiet. Although most people here were pretty shy themselves, she had found that there were some people who were loud and boisterous and liked to shout just for the fun of it. That was something she couldn't handle. Not when she was alone in this place. She hadn't made any friends, well not really anyways, but that hadn't been much of a shocker. She missed her parents slightly, since being alone was a painful thing, even though she was used to it. She missed her didn't miss her brother, though. On the contrary, she was glad to finally be away from him. You could only take so much perfection from one person before you felt like you might vomit on them.
Speaking of vomiting, Laila's stomach was beginning to growl. She thought about going down to the cafeteria, but she decided against it. According to the rules, she wasn't allowed to leave for two hours after eating to force her to digest the food. She imagined she could always throw up right there, on any one who was watching to her make sure she didn't try to race to the bathroom. She smirked at that thought. Even though she had never considered herself as much of a rebel, Laila did enjoy this kind of rebellion. She found herself sighing to herself. Wishing for once that she had someone else with her. Not that she wanted to talk to anyone, but mostly to have the presence of another person around so things wouldn't feel like she was alone in limbo.
"Stupid rules" Laila murmured as her stomach make a low rumbling again. She hated the thought of people knowing that her body was hungry, but it could just deal. She wasn't going to eat right now, and she was going to until she absolutely had to. And then her plan would go into action. Laila turned another page of her book and began to sketch out a small pair of lips that curled up into a smile.
