hello, my name is JESSI. i am SEVENTEEN years young and i consider myself a(n) ADVANCED roleplayer. i found this site through COURTNEY. so, here's an example of my average post:
The thunderous exhaust of a black 1999 Chevrolet Blazer was all that could be heard in the parking lot of the Elmwood Stables girl's dorm building. From the inside of the truck you could hear Kenny Chesney's "She's Got It All" playing through the XM radio deck on the dashboard.
Once the truck was parked neatly in between the fading golden lines, the sound of the exhaust and the music shut off. The driver’s side door swung open and out popped a girl with a pair of dark wash denim shorts and a pair of dark brown cowboy boots. The girl tugged her blank tank top down so it passed the waistline of her shorts. She leaned into the side of the truck and grabbed her white Coach purse and her black cowboy hat. She placed her hat neatly on her head as she closed the door to her truck.
The girl looked as if she was seventeen years old. She had long, thick, wavy chocolate brown hair that bounced as she walked towards the doors. Her crystal blue eyes scanned the perimeter around her and she sighed. A smile crept up on her face. This place was beautiful. Although the smell of the horses would probably turn some people away, it made her feel like home. The girl could see a couple paint horses playing in an extremely fake looking green pasture off to her right. Just past that were acres of hills, little forests, along with cross country and trail riding trails. To her left was the a huge freshly painted red barn along with an outside arena, round pen, and a couple large outside pens for the horses. The Stables definitely looked well organized and well funded.
She dug her hand into her Coach bag and found her keys. The girl swung her arm behind her head hitting the ‘lock’ button on the keypad. There was a quick ‘BEEP’ that came across the parking lot where her Blazer was parked. As she walked up the steps she threw her keys back into her bag and swung it over her left shoulder.
She wasn’t carrying any bags because she had already dropped off all of her things earlier that morning. She had just driven down town for a nice cup of coffee and some lunch before she returned. She was informed that she would have a roommate living with her. The girl hoped she would be as nice and that they would at least get along.
She swung open the right front entrance door and stepped inside. The main lobby area was very surprisingly nice. A lot like a five star resort you’d find in the Bahamas. The walls were a professional tan color with marble flooring. There was a front desk with three secretaries looking incredibly busy talking on their wireless headset pieces and typing away on their computers. She was greeted with polite smiles from the girls residing in the dorm building. This was her first time living in the United States. She was born and raised in Alberta, Canada. Her parents allowed her and her horse to be sent down here to further her horse career. She was nervous and incredibly excited at the same time. She didn’t know a soul and hoped she would meet new people; better people than she knew back home.
The girl’s cowboy boots made a clicking noise on the hard wood stairs as she jogged up them to the second floor where her room was. “Room two hundred and fifteen.” She said aloud as she tried the door to see if it was locked. It wasn’t. She continued into the room. It was fairly large, with sky blue walls and dark hardwood floor. There were two double beds, two dressers, two desks, and two medium sized closets, more than enough room for two teenage girls to live in. On the far side of the room there was a generous window that took up well over half of the wall which let it a lot of natural lighting.
”Hello?” she called out before she saw the other girl in the room unpacking her belongings on the other bed beside her own. ”Oh! Hey there, I’m Brittani. It’s a pleasure to meet you.” Brittani held out her pale, fair skinned hand to her roommate with a warm, polite smile.
