The day just started like any other day for Nathan Miller he woke up in his bed he hadn’t spent the night at his house for god knows for how long. His marriage had died years ago its not that he didn’t love his wife but somewhere as the years went on the flame was slowly dimishing until it finally burned out. He would always love her in his own way she was the mother to there only daughter Natalie he remembered the day she was born he had been on the biggest case that was the launch of his career. He had been during a case when his wife had gone into labor the hospital had called him countless time but there was no way he could bail out of the case. So instead he did everything in his power to move the case forward and played out everything he needed to play and let the rest up to the jury thank god for his bold mode the jury had found his client not guilty and as soon as the verdict was decided he rushed out of the court house to the hospital never had he been so nervous in his life he swerved from lane to lane on the highway until he hit the hospital parking lot. He bolted out of his car and paid the usher 100 dollars to park his car he didn’t care where it was just needed to be I that room at the time he she to give birth. He raced up the stairs and finally got to the room where his wife was…a lit bit longer and he would have missed it but he got there just at the right moment. He held her hand as the doctor told her to push and she did just that. She had been in labor for 5 hours and at 8:01 am she gave birth to Natalie Nichole miller weighting at 8 pounds. Both Blake and his wife smiled at the sight of there daughter she had been the first to hold her. She looked just like her mother and after awhile Blake held her in his arms for the first time as he rocked her she took a grab at one of his fingers and just looked at him with those beautiful bluish green eyes and smiled as a tear went down his cheek…..But that was back then now back into reality.
Nathan stood up from his bed and went to take a shower as he was quick to come out and dress in casual wear today he took a pair of Gucci jeans and a Gucci polo shirt along with some loafers and his Rolex watch he did his hair with some gel and sprayed some cologne he looked down and saw his wedding band he picked it up and stared at it for awhile thinking if he should wear it….he shook his head and placed the ring down as he turned around and got his blackberry and he was out of the room and down the stairs. He got his car keys from the little basket in his bar area where the mail went he walked out of his condo and into the garbage he climbed into his bmw and started the engine as he backed out of his parking spot and off he was. There was nothing major pending at the office he had his group of people doing paperwork and other thing so today was a me day. He mad his way to the omega shopping center might as well do some shopping to pass the time he was going to pick up Natalie later but for now she was in school so he made a left on the parkway and rode that for 15 mins before exiting on the shopping center exit and parked in the parking lot. He turned off his car and climbed out. He made his way across the parking and into the shopping center. The place was pretty packed since summer was here and the kids were out of school they would spend there time here. He walked around and couldn’t help but notice there was a lot of good looking females all over the place he smiled at some as some of them giggled and said how cute he was.
Now what man could ever turn down a compliment from a woman he thanked them and kept moving e was now getting hungry and he realized he was yet to have breakfast. He remembered one of his people mentioning about this little pretzel cart here that had some pretty amazing pretzels so Nathan thought to himself why not give the place a try. He wondered around some more as he looked for the location on the lower level he ended up when he finally found the cart he walked over to it and saw a line and stood behind it it wasn’t that long so it shouldn’t take that long. He pulled out his blackberry and answered some emails he had received he was quick to type as the line moved along as he replied to his final email he was next in line. ”hello sir welcome to Martha’s pretzel what can I get you today”? [/] Nathan thought for a second before he returned the smile to the elderly lady. ”Ill have a cheddar and a cinnamon pretzel with a large coffee” the lady smiled as she went ahead and began to make his pretzel’s and brewed a fresh cup of coffee just for him, he stepped aside as she took on more orders he went back to finishing the last email he wad been working on. He got to finish it as his order was ready the lady handed him his fresh hot pretzels and his coffee as Nathan handed her a twenty dollar bill the his total had been like 6.50 when she went to give him his change he refused. ”No its fine you keep the change thank you for my order have a nice day.” he walked away as the lady kept his change. Nathan saw a small table and took a seat in it as he placed the food down he took a gulp of his coffee and then a bit from his pretzel….it was actually good his worker was right about the little cart. He took out his phone once again and began to read some other things as he ate his pretzel and rank his coffee and this was the start of Nathan's Day….
